Four PUBG Maps for Competitions
Players may explore a range of thrilling and difficult terrain in PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds Mobile.
We will examine four PUBG Mobile maps in this post to improve our chances of winning and advancing in combat.
The first one is Erangle
The original PUBG map, Erangel, is large—it couldn’t be tiny enough to hold hundreds and hundreds of games again. Despite the fact that it may occasionally feel instinctive, the all-encompassing architecture of the buildings, trees, and undulating battleground landscape makes it simple to become lost in.
Finding the ideal landing spot for your game is another issue. If you’re stranded far outside of the safe zone, you need also to know where to discover the finest places to park your car. Generally speaking, PUBG maps is the greatest place to start.
PUBG Erangel map explained: Erangel dimensions, information, and strategic usage of the map
At least initially, the map in PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds is more intricate and helpful than you may imagine. Here’s the map itself and a few basic things to know right away before we go into particular strategies:
Important details of the PUBG Map:
- The map’s real landmass is only around 6 km wide, with each large square denoting one kilometer and each smaller square within it representing 100 meters.
- The subterranean bunker complex, located in the sixth square from the left, fourth up from the bottom (or F4, for you cartographers out there), is the most prominent of the few structures that are absent from the very accurate map.
- Many players are already aware that various places have varying rates at which guns, vehicles, and treasure spawn, but it’s still important to keep in mind that certain spots always yield better-quality loot, so make plans appropriately. See down for further information on maximizing this!
- Prioritizing certain spots inside the high-loot-spawning areas is advised if you plan to land in a high-risk zone since they yield a greater quantity of firearms and other weapons. It is included in the best PUBG maps.
- The plane’s automatic parachute trigger allows you to glide approximately 1.25 kilometers (large squares) from its randomized, linear flight path.
- However, thanks to new parachuting mechanics that were introduced in December 2018, you can now greatly extend that by holding Control to “glide” slowly over long distances.
- Use the Right Mouse Button to put markers onto the map. Markers are useful for team collaboration and for simply keeping track of your own personal goal destination, so make use of them as much as you can.
- Once more, the compass should be utilized in conjunction with a team to pinpoint enemy or point-of-interest locations. It also employs particular numbers for more accurate directional tracking.
Where to land, optimal starting points, and tactics for the PUBG Erangel map
In PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds, there isn’t a clear-cut ideal starting point due to the randomized flight route. Making the most of the resources at your disposal, acting swiftly to plan, and applying your knowledge to make wise judgments are what it really takes to get off to a solid start. Fortunately, there are a lot of considerations that can assist you in doing that.
The best places to start PUBG maps Erangel are:
- Military Base: This location usually has the most people as well as the greatest treasure in the game. You should prepare to fight (and perish) if it’s beneath the flight route. If not, it’s usually worth the short drive there to plunder in peace, but if the white circle isn’t being nice, watch out for bridge trolls—people who wait for you on bridges! The finest riches are kept in the three large U-shaped structures, although you’ll succeed everywhere.
- Mylta Power is a great place if it’s close to the edge of the flight path. Superior plunder, particularly in the central green structure and the encircling storage facilities, and plenty for an entire group. Just be aware that getting to the first circle nearly usually requires a car.
- Little Mylta Power: A smaller plant with a single main building is located directly west of Mylta Power. Though rarer, you may find very high-quality treasure here, making it better suited for solo and duo play than team play.
- The hospital and school both have enormous amounts of treasure but are of a somewhat mediocre caliber. Right now, school is the most popular area to land, so if you go there, expect to die practically always from fighting. Though it’s well on the brink of your reach, the Hospital is a terrific shout.
- Huge, extremely high-quality treasure may be found in the Georgopol Cites, which are the big crates north of the mountains and south of the river, along with the warehouses that surround them. However, when these sites are accessible by plane, they are frequently disputed. Combat can be hard, so in PUBG maps it’s a better chance if you can land close and drive there. For the greatest treasure, make sure to scale the boxes, but be careful—you’re also quite exposed!
- Three excellent, spacious locations to loot—the prison, the mansion, and the bunker—each with enough room for a whole squad but are also hotly disputed while they are beneath the flight path. But if you can get there safely, or if you like yourself in a scrap, they make terrific destinations.
- Big towns are risky locations to pillage, but areas like Georgopol, Primorsk, Novoreponye, Lipovka, Rozhok, Pochinki, and Yasnaya Polyana are all ideal places to do it. Pay attention to buildings with glass fronts and angular architecture such as warehouses, cafés, and restaurants, since they tend to store large amounts of the greatest treasure.
The Second one is Miramar
Following months of teases, screenshots, datamines, and an initial release on the test server back in 2017, the PUBG maps desert Miramar has finally made its way to all platforms. Mirroring the 8 by 8-kilometer setting of Battlegrounds’ original map Erangel, the Miramar map is a dusty biome featuring a mixture of vast plains, high-story settlements, expansive desert, and a coast surrounded by islands. On this page, we’ll go over everything you need to know about the map itself, as well as our recommendations for the best places to start and drop zones, general map information, and our own Miramar strategies for making the most of the desert map’s unique features.
PUBG maps Miramar explained: dimensions, coverage, and overall details of the desert
Since Miramar has been living in the wild for some time, we have become much closer to its many peculiarities and traits. Before we get into the details, here is the map itself:
Miramar, PUBG’s desert map: Dimensions, arrangement, scene, and cover
The desert, or at least a fictitious sandy biome in central America, is the setting for the desert map Miramar, as you may have predicted. With traditional frontier weapons like the Winchester being introduced at launch, it has a distinctly “Western” feel. Regarding general features, the most important thing to know about Miramar is that it is open, much more so than the Erangel Map, but open in a different sense than what many tend to believe. Due to the absence of cover, one of the biggest criticisms made by gamers regarding Miramar is that it seems too exposed. That may not be entirely accurate; more cover was introduced in a recent patch, thus while there may be somewhat less protection than Erangel, we believe that Miramar is feeling more exposed due to the variations in their lines of sight.
The overabundance of trees in Erangel is the one feature that truly distinguishes the two. Although they offer very little protection, a few trees scattered over somewhat broad fields can significantly change the view of snipers and those scouting the plains for players who may be crossing. Even though Miramar has a lot of cover which is really more protective than trees the fact that you can see so far and so clearly while navigating it makes you feel quite exposed.
Although some people think otherwise, Miramar is exactly the same size as Erangel; it has an 8 by 8 grid of huge squares, with one kilometer equating to each large square.
The ideal starting points, drop zones, and techniques for the desert terrain in Miramar
The ideal starting spots for a particular match on Erangel, or any other PUBG maps, will always rely on the circumstances and your preferred style of play.
But generally speaking, there are a few things you’ll always want if you’re trying to win and not just to practice your fighting or have fun: treasure, safety, and an easy means to get to the safe zone.
Best places to start and drop in Miramar:
- Hacienda: This is Miramar’s take on Erangel’s School; it’s a little facility that’s brimming with fine stuff, but you can also very much count on seeing other people there as well, even if the plane didn’t fly over it and you hurried there as quickly as you could. You’ll be among the best-equipped players in the game if you make it through the shootout.
- Prison: Similar to Hacienda, this location likely contains the greatest game-wide reward. It’s less well-known than Hacienda because, as shown by its location in the map’s corner, it’s only feasible sometimes. The ideal time to visit is when the plane is not in the path, but you can still drive very near after landing and reach the location in about a minute by car. In this manner, you often obtain it for yourself and have time to promptly reserve a spot in the safe area afterward.
- The Pecado Casino has a resemblance to Erangel’s Hospital. One quite enormous facility that housed equipment and weaponry for top-grate combat. But because it’s so central, similar to Hacienda, it’s nearly always within parachute drop range and hence crowded, so if you attend, be prepared for a shootout.
- Ladrilleria: Although it varies a lot with RNG, Ladrilleria is a lesser-known gem that I hate to tell the world about. Normally, it contains enough equipment for one or two people. Depending on your luck, there may be three M416s with level 2 armor and occasionally three Winchesters. If it’s near a big town and some warehouses you can go to if necessary, it’s usually peaceful and on the edge of the parachute distance.
- Military Camp: Located at the upper-right corner of the map, this location is seldom affected by drops and, should you have unfavorable luck with the RNG, will frequently leave you stranded in the safe zone at the far end of the map. Nevertheless, it is stocked with excellent equipment. It’s fantastic for squad play when you can afford to spread out a bit yourself, but the major problem is that it takes a long time to really hoover it all up.
- Similar to Ladrilleria, Minas Generales is rarely crowded with other players, in part because it is located near popular destinations like Hacienda and Pecado, which are often preferred by the general public. Plenty of level 2-rated gear may be found on the many levels of the large mechanical constructions, and a decent selection of weapons can be found inside the multi-level buildings. Another that’s great for squads because it’s once more fairly dispersed. If one or two essential objects are still missing, proceed to the Graveyard as well. It is also included in the best PUBG maps.
The Third one is Sanhok
The 4×4 PUBG map Sanhok, formerly known as Savage, is for players who are ready for a slightly more difficult challenge than usual. We’ve compiled all the information you need about the 4×4 PUBG maps on this page, including any new features like the new scooter and the tukshai “tuk-tuk” vehicle, as well as our recommendations for the best Sanhok start locations and anything else you should know.
The size, new features, and map variations of PUBG’s Sanhok map are discussed.
This is a brief summary of all the new and distinct features of the Sanhok 4×4 map. It goes without saying that the new map is smaller than the others, such as the 8×8 Erangel and Miramar and the more recent 6×6 Vikendi. This one has a field size of four by four kilometers with a player count of 100 each round. On the whole, though, the tempo of the real gaming on Sanhok has changed. Half the size of Erangel and Miramar, Sanhok offers rapid circles to hasten the transition to the late game, intense early-game firefights, and a relatively peaceful mid-game.
After its 2018 release on primary servers, the map had further thorough changes:
- The weather has returned! Sanhok has brought back unpleasant weather conditions including fog and rain. Although the hardcore crowd has been waiting for them to return for some time, they were initially hated. Personally, we’re happy to have them returning and changing up our playstyles in PUBG maps. There’s a circular Easter Egg location—we won’t reveal it—that’s from a movie.
- Weapon spawns: In a nutshell, more stuff spawns quicker. In particular, there is a 5% increase in the frequency of ARs, SMGs, and DMR spawns in comparison to round 4 of the Sanhok test prior to launch. Apart from care packages, 8x and 15x scopes don’t spawn on Sanhok at all.
- There is no longer a nervous waiting time before you know where to go because the circle now spawns quickly. Now that the white circle is on, you can see where you need to go next and how much time you have right away.
Blue zone time adjusted: In addition to being more “dynamic,” the blue zone now adjusts its waiting time and location based on the number of players still in the game. - Red zone frequency has been reduced. Sanhok’s Red Zone is smaller and its center will always be beyond the safe zone surrounded by white rings since its purpose is to increase your chance of injury when you are outside of the circle.
- Changes to vehicle spawns: Vans now appear less often. The motorbike with two wheels spawns more frequently. Sanhok, motorcycles with sidecars are no longer allowed. (Excited!)
Sanhok landing places, tactics, and starting points
The greatest places to start in one map of the PUBG maps Sanhok
- Three small military installations, Camp Alpha, Bravo, and Charlie, are situated in comparable locations to the east, west, and south of the island. They all function essentially in the same way: if a jet flies overhead, things get crazy; if it flies farther away, things get a little less chaotic. Keep in mind that the treasure is just as good—if not better—on the roofs of the buildings as it is within.
- Ruins: An amazing small labyrinth of passageways and chambers brimming with superior (Level 3) goodies. If the middle is too disputed, there is some respectable treasure on the surrounding exterior pillars as well.
- Mongnai: This region, which appears to be a coconut plantation, is a wonderful little secret. It is located in the map’s far northeast corner. In a single visit, we discovered an M24 and a Level 3 vest here. There is a little amount, but excellent quality, of loot in the few structures and across the plantation.
- Both Paradise Resort and Bootcamp are large, central, high-density zones; PUBG players will recognize this. Complete destruction, but copious riches. Not so excellent for really winning a round, but nice for some target practice or warm-up play.
- Docks: The docks are a scaled-down counterpart of Erangel’s Novoporonye, with tons of riches to be found within climbable cargo containers. However, be warned that they are sluggish to navigate and leave you pretty exposed, though so far, our visits have been very calm.
- Quarry: PUBG maps wouldn’t be the same without a quarry, although this one is really flooded. Excellent bounty, although it’s dispersed. Ideal for a group, search for the largest treasure density among the group’s climbable rectangle blocks. As you scavenge, be cautious of the view spots that overlook you from every direction.
- The Mountaintop Ruins are a considerably smaller group of ruins consisting of two little warehouse-style structures and one of those outside pillars. It offers you a great view position from the highest point on the map, and the treasure is mediocre but seldom disputed. As you try to descend, just watch out that you don’t get trapped in the cliffs!
- Pontoons: If you can rummage among the neighboring houses and half a dozen shoreside pontoons (that is, the small structures that protrude out to sea on little jetty bridges), you’ll find some fairly good treasures. When the blue zone starts to close in, just watch out not to get caught completely off guard on the map’s edge.
Scooters, Tukshai, and all the other information we have on the 4×4 map. Similar to Miramar when it was still brand-new, Sanhok comes with some brand-new treats. When Sanhok was first released, the game included the SLR, a DMR that can accept both AR and DMR attachments. However, Sanhok also has an exclusive weapon known as the QBZ, a fully automatic 5.56mm AR that consumes rounds and resembles the AUG A3 that you may receive in care packages. In addition to replacing the SCAR-L in the item pool and holding 30 rounds per mag with an extended capacity of 40, it spawns around 1.4 times more frequently on Sanhok than the SCAR-L did.
Other than those weapons, In PUBG maps Sanhok also features a few unique cars, such as the Scooter and the recently added Tukshai, which is, depending on how you refer to it, a hybrid of a rickshaw and a tuk-tuk.
The Fourth one is Vikendi
Vikendi, the snow map for PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds, is currently available on PC and will soon be available on the live servers of the PlayStation and Xbox consoles. It’s a unique snow map that falls somewhere in between the smaller Sanhok and the larger Erangel and Miramar maps, and it adds some new mechanics and strategic elements like footprints. In this article, we’ll go over some early recommendations for the best places to start the snow map as well as some snow map strategies that we’ve learned from testing, with some additional Vikendi tips and tricks added now that we’ve tested it on live servers.
Vikendi’s explanation of the snow map in PUBG maps: dimensions, footprints, and information
The formula of standard maps like Erangel and Miramar is mixed up by PUBG’s new “snow map,” Vikendi, which falls into a new, midway size between those larger maps and the more recent, pocket-sized Sanhok. Before we get into the details, let’s have a look at the map itself.
Size, footprints, new parachuting, and other new details of the Snow Map Vikendi
- As we said earlier, Vikendi is a 6 x 6 map that is positioned squarely between the 4 x 4-kilometer Sanhok map and the 8 x 8-kilometer Erangel and Miramar map. It’s really intended to play more like a combination of the two sizes as well: somewhat quicker than the two huge ones but slightly more “tactical” than Sanhok, and in actual play, that’s pretty much how it works.
- The inclusion of footprints, which at first glance seems very tiny but occasionally may significantly alter your approach, is the second key Vikendi-specific aspect to pay attention to. To put it poetically, they’re essentially the open doors of the wilderness; that is, they serve as a sign that someone has just visited. They last 10 minutes, with one ardent participant. It is also included in the great PUBG maps.
- Vehicles on Vikendi have also changed: standard cars, even four-wheel-drive vehicles like the Jeep, will struggle in the snow, especially when traveling uphill, and can slip a little when steering—which is kind of fun! The arrival of the Snowmobile, a pretty stunning two-seater that performs considerably worse on ordinary terrain like highways and regular ground but much better on snow, helps to offset that.
- The last significant feature is a modification to the parachute that is applicable to all maps now that Vikendi is available on active servers. When you parachute, you can now glide, which allows you to maintain height and move slowly over longer distances, by holding Control, or you can descend quickly by holding Shift. This is in addition to having control over your direction and the ability to “swing” your way a little farther.
- This implies that you may access practically the whole Vikendi map from the start on any flyover route; but, if you decide to glide a great distance, you will undoubtedly land much later than your rivals. It appears that the distance covered by regular parachuting has also somewhat decreased. As a result, most players continue to cling to close-to-the-fly-zone drops in key regions when given the choice between safer looting with a later landing and speedier access to loot on the ground. Or for the time being, anyhow.
PUBG snow map tactics and the top Vikendi start spots to date
The way the treasure is distributed on the snow map Vikendi suggests that it’s still extremely early in the game. It’s a little too early to properly lay out the best starting locations, as we have done in our guides to Erangel, Miramar, and Sanhok, because of the extremely unusual spawn distribution. For example, a significant portion of standard spawn weapons right now are SMGs and Shotguns, along with many of the same DMR attachments despite their near non-existence. Concerns have also been raised about the possible inadvertent weighing of the circle, given that it appears to be spawning somewhat too frequently in the central southwest region right now.
We’ll go over a quick rundown of some of the map’s key locations and give you an idea of what to expect, rather than breaking them down into loot quality and quantity tiers later. We’ll update this page with much more detailed information about loot-spawning when the map makes the transition from Test Server to live games.
The primary regions in the snow map of PUBG maps
- Hot drops: Due to their accessibility from nearly every flight path, the primary named areas in the center of Vikendi, like on other maps, are the busiest places to land. Consider striking locations such as Castle, Villa, Dino Park, Coal Mine, and Mount Kreznic. All of these usually have a lot of treasure concentrated in them, but we’ll have to wait and see if that means higher quality. Finding level 3 equipment, such as helmets, has been the easiest for us at Dino Park, especially in the dodgems arena!
- Large yet serene: Away from the map’s center, but still visually striking, you’ll find more peace and quiet at places like Cantra, Milnar, Cosmodrome, Winery, Dobro Mesto, Krichas, Peshkova, and Movatra. Given the aforementioned modifications to the parachute dynamics, a lengthy drop to one of them would be a wise choice because loot concentration still appears to be extremely high.
- Smaller and more serene, Abbey appears to be an underappreciated hidden treasure that has a surprising quantity of treasure in a relatively compact space. Otherwise, we are discussing the minor villages found around the map’s periphery, such as Vihar, Trevno, Pilnec, and so on. There’s still enough riches for one, but it’s not as good for bigger groups, and getting there could involve a little hike. Situational choices, then!
As previously stated, we will be taking a closer look at them in the days and weeks to come, and after the rather peculiar loot scenario settles down, we’ll check in again to provide an update with additional information.
